Violence Prevention: Is Your Business At Risk?
(Asheville, NC): The next meeting of the
Western North Carolina Human Resources Association will be at
12:00 Noon, Wednesday, August 9, at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel in
downtown Asheville.
Rusty Marks, LPC, and Staff Counselor
with the Employee Assistant Network will present a program on Violence
Prevention: Is Your Business At Risk? He will provide vital
information on how to determine if your business is at risk, and tips
on how to make your work environment safer.
Rusty Marts
is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the States of North Carolina
and New Mexico. He is also a Board certified biofeedback therapist,
Board certified clinical hypnotherapist and National Certified
Counselor. Rusty has over 25 years experience in counseling.
The program is open to members,
students and anyone interested in learning more about human
resource-and management-related issues. Reservations can be made by

The cost of attending the lunch meeting is $18.00 for members and
students, $22 for nonmembers, and includes lunch (a vegetarian option
is available by request when making reservations).
Western North Carolina Human Resources
Association is a certified chapter of the Society for Human Resources
Management, and is comprised of human resource and other professionals
from various area businesses and industries. The purpose of the
association is to develop the personnel function in each participating
company by close contact and cooperation with others in the same
field, to facilitate the dissemination of information of value to
human resource professionals individually and collectively, and to
promote positive human relations principles.
