HR Association Installs Officers

(Asheville, NC):  The Western North Carolina Human Resources Association installed its 2004 officers at The Deerpark Restaurant on December 10, 2004. 

            The 2004 Officers are Renee Anderson, SPHR, President; Bettina C. Hall, Vice President-Elect; Bridget Downey, PHR, Secretary; Kaye Waugh, SPHR, Treasurer; Mike Neely, Vice President-Membership; and Lorraine Poe, Vice President-Programs and President ex officio.  Photographs of the officers are available at:  http://wnchra.tripod.com/officers.htm

             Ms. Anderson and Ms. Downey are both employed by Pechiney Plastic Packaging.  Ms. Anderson as Human Resources Manager and Ms. Downey as Human Resources Representative.  Ms. Waugh is Employment Manager with the Biltmore Company.  Mr. Neely is Human Resources Coordinator for Ingles Markets.  Ms. Poe having just recently served as president of the chapter is the Director of Human Resources for Western Carolina Industries.

 The Western North Carolina Human Resources Association is a certified chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management, and is comprised of human resource and other professionals from various area businesses and industries.  The purpose of the association is to develop the personnel function in each participating company by close contact and cooperation with others in the same field, to facilitate the dissemination of information of value to human resource professionals individually and collectively, and to promote positive human relations principles.
