The Western North Carolina Human Resources Association
installed its 2005 officers at The Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa on
December 8, 2004.
The 2005 Officers are Carolyn Worthington, Ph.D.,
President; Kim Moser, Vice President-Elect; Bridget Downey,
PHR, Secretary; Lorraine Poe, SPHR, Treasurer; Mike Neely, Vice
President-Membership; and Carol Rovello, SPHR, Vice

Dr. Worthington is the Director of Human Resources for Mission
Hospitals. Ms. Moser is a Human Resources Generalist with Medical
Action Industries and Ms. Downey a Human Resources Representative with
Alcan Packaging. Ms. Poe served as a past president of the chapter and
is the Director of Human Resource Services for Western Carolina
Industries. Mr. Neely is
Human Resources Coordinator for Ingles Markets.
The Western
North Carolina Human Resources Association is a certified chapter of
the Society for Human Resources Management, and is comprised of human
resource and other professionals from various area businesses and
industries. The Association consists of over 134 members representing
more than 75 employers. The purpose of the association is to develop
the personnel function in each participating company by close contact
and cooperation with others in the same field, to facilitate the
dissemination of information of value to human resource professionals
individually and collectively, and to promote positive human relations
principles.
