WNC Human Resources Association Announces a
Special Program
Human Resources Horror Night!
Carolina, she has
served as the Asheville Local Coordinator for “Town
(Asheville, NC): The next regular meeting of
the Western North Carolina Human Resources Association will be
the evening edition on Wednesday, October 11, at the Renaissance
Asheville Hotel in downtown Asheville from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
There will be heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Networking and
registration will begin at 5:30 p.m.
The theme in the spirit of the
Halloween season will allow members and guests to explore Human
Resources horror stories from ghosts of Human Resources professionals
past. Jon Yarbrough of Constangy, Brooks & Smith. LLC will serve as
medium and moderator for an interactive discussion of Human Resources
horror stories.
The program is open to members,
students and anyone interested in learning more about human
resource-and management-related issues. Reservations can be made by

The cost of attending the evening program is $18.00 for members and
students, $22 for nonmembers.
The Western North Carolina Human Resources
Association is a certified chapter of the Society for Human Resources
Management, and is comprised of human resource and other professionals
from various area businesses and industries. The purpose of the
association is to develop the personnel function in each participating
company by close contact and cooperation with others in the same
field, to facilitate the dissemination of information of value to
human resource professionals individually and collectively, and to
promote positive human relations principles.
